A lot of Ghanaian music fans as well as critics, have always been wondering why Ghanaian Musicians especially the hiplife artists, can’t perform on stage with a live band.

This jinx was broken last weekend and for those of you, who watched “Music Music” on Tv3 last weekend would really attest to this assertion.

In fact as a music critic myself I was so impressed and enthused when I saw Kontihene, perform live on stage with the Megastar music band. Dressed in a nice African print, Kontihene entertained the guest with some of tracks on his new album.

Then came on stage Ghana’s answer to Buju Banton, Beenie Man and the like, the man like Batman. He held the audience spell bound when he started of with a free style.

Of course the night would not have been complete if Batman failed to perform the controversial “Gyae She” and “Linda”. The crowd couldn’t resist but to get onto the dancing floor to dance to with Batman.

And now my question is one would wonder how young hiplife artists like Batman and Kontihene were able to do it so fast by performing live with a band?

Would Kow Kese say this one is also “YAWA”?

How about K.K. Fosu? “Na through him wey Batman do a live performance”?
