Ghana: Becca’s Worth Growing By The Day

After introducing herself to Ghana’s Music industry with her hit single “You Lied To Me” featuring Kwabena Kwabena, Becca’s has become a household name to Ghanaian Music Fanatics.

Her music has been enjoying airplays, more gig performances coming her way, her recent being sharing a stage with Nigerian music icons P-Square, D’banj and Don Jazi.

She featured South Africa’s Music Legend Hugh Masekela on her debut album and even performed live with him at the 2007 Ghana Music Awards.

Printex hosted her 23rd Birthday at the Boomerang Night Club last month.

Whats in the pipeline for Becca?

Four international music producers who witnessed Becca’s live performance at the National Theatre recently have expressed interest in the artiste and are ready to sign a good contract with her management to be her managers and producers.

The producers decided to sign on the artiste because they were overwhelmed by her live performance and her music videos. The producer who will succeed in signing on Becca would also be in charge of the sale and distribution of all her musical works across the world.

Kiki Banson, who is the Chief Executive Officer of EKB Records is aiming at distributing Becca’s album in Sierra Leone, Nigeria and other West African countries. The production team comprises Kiki and Kwame Yeboah and supported by Nana Fynn and Johnny Fingers.

Future Events

EKB Records and Chisa Records (Hugh Masekela’s) in South Africa are collaborating to have some world tours and an album as well.

Kwaku T’s Welcome Party @ Club Tantra Host

Ghanaian Hiphop Artist Kwaku T who recently got evicted from The Big Brother Africa House last week will host a party for his fans at the Club Tantra Pub on Saturday 20th October, 2007.

He’ll be burning up the dance floor with ‘The Peer Pressure Group, Reggie Rockstone, and Tic Tac. You will also meet Kwaku T’s friends like Kwame Faakye, Eddie Blay , Sammy B and others on that night.

So, if you’re in the mood for a rocking good time, join Kwaku and make Saturday (20 October) a night you’ll never forget.

Entry Fee: 100,000 Cedi for guys and 50,000 Cedi for girls.

Who is Kwaku T

Kwaku T is a 30 year old rap musician who until his eviction represented Ghana at this year’s Big Brother Africa in South Africa.

He is the originator of the old time Ghanaian Hiphop Tune T*T* Mechanic.

Kwaku T featured on the remix of King Ayisoba’s hit song, I want to see you my father with Tic Tic.

He also featured on the remix of P-Square’s Hit Single.

Reggie featured Sway and Kwaku T on his hit single “Peaches”.

Praye and Wutah Grace “The New Star In Town” Launch

Guinness Ghana Brewery Limited recently launched the rebranded Star Beer at the Aviation Social Centre at an event which was well attended by Star Beer Lovers and Musicians Alike.

Omanhene Pozo and C-zar @ 4syte TV’s 1st Anniversary

Hiplife Veteran Omanhene Pozo [left] former of Nananom fame poses with C-zar of Araba Lawson’s fame at the 4Syte TV One Year Anniversary Pool Party @ Crown Apartmento.

Other stars at the party that night were Bola Ray of Joy FM, Eddy Blay Jnr of Metro TV, DJ Black and Nii Aryee Tagoe of Joy Fm.

Though only a year old, 4syte TV has established itself as one of the consistent entertainment news channels. It could now be likened to channels such as MTV Base and few other major international entertainment channels.

Ignace Hego Kwame, the producer and director of 4syte TV has been the brain behind all the success.

Paa Dogo Returns with “The Return of Dogo”

After three years of absentia in the music circles, Paa Dogo, a hiplife star  and a one time protégé of Obrafour has resurfaced in the Ghanaian Music Scene again with the release of his second album “The Return of Dogo”.

The album which has about 8 songs on the CD features some of the top hiplife musicians in Ghana. His music videos are currently enjoying a lot of airplay on TV3 and TV Africa.

Before his absentia, Paa Dogo was a card bearing member of the famous Last Two Camp run by the Ghana Music Award Winning Sound Enginner Hammer.

His first album “Eye Mmusuo” was a one time success and catapulted him to the top of music charts in the capital city.

Dogo also featured on Tinny’s hit track Obi Doba on his second Album.
